It’s okay to not be okay



I hope you realise that it’s okay to be sad every now and then, and you understand that it is normal that things don’t go as planned.

It’s healthy to wallow in self pity as long as we don’t get comfortable in it and it’s very okay to not be okay.

It is okay to cry yourself to sleep when you feel the world is ganging up against you. You always feel better after a good cry; ooh yes I’d know that, totally lost count.

Everything may not seem perfect at the moment but there are parts of you that can never be taken from you. Remember what is said about diamonds? Highest pressure, strains to create it, and then comes one of the most beautiful things eyes have ever seen. That’s how life is; it puts you through the worst just to ready you for the best; don’t give up yet. Be stubborn; be resilient as long as you follow what sets your soul on fire.

So for now, be fine with not being okay and trust the process you can’t understand because someday, in the nearest future, you'll look back and smile
